Investment objective

The Fund's investment objective is to provide current income consistent with stability of principal.

Principal investment strategy

"The Fund invests primarily in a portfolio of high-quality, dollar-denominated fixed-income securities which: (1) are issued by banks, corporations and the U.S. government; and (2) mature in 397 days or less. Finally, the Fund may invest in a few government securities that are issued by entities whose activities are sponsored by the federal government, but that have no explicit financial support.
