C000204800 Investment Objective and Strategy
PGIM QMA Strategic Alpha Small-Cap Growth ETF describes its objective and strategy as follows, from its latest prospectus filed with the SEC by Pgim ETF Trust.
Investment objective
The investment objective of the Fund is to seek long-term growth of capital.
Principal investment strategy
The Fund seeks investments that will appreciate over time. The Funds goal is to outperform the returns of the Russell 2000 Growth Index over the long term. The Fund normally invests at least 80% of its investable assets in equity and equity-related securities of US small-capitalization companies. The term investable assets refers to the Funds net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes. The Funds investable assets will be less than its total assets to the extent that it has borrowed money for non-investment purposes, such as to meet anticipated redemptions. The Fund is an actively managed ETF and, thus, does not seek to replicate the performance of a specified index. QMA employs a proprietary multi-factor quantitatively driven investment process for the Fund. The stock selection process utilizes systematic tools that evaluate stocks based on various signals, such as value, quality and volatility, to differentiate between attractive and unattractive stocks, subject to risk constraints.
The investment management team exercises judgment when evaluating underlying data and positions recommended by its quantitative tools.
