The investment objective of the Fund is long-term growth of capital.
Principal investment strategy
The Fund seeks to meet its objective by investing under normal circumstances at least 65% of its total assets in common stocks of domestic companies. Although the Fund may invest in companies with a broad range of market capitalizations, the Fund will tend to focus on companies with large market capitalizations (generally above $10 billion). Using a value approach, the Fund seeks to invest in stocks that Wellington Management Company LLP (Sub-Adviser) believes are underpriced relative to other stocks. The Fund may invest up to 20% of its total assets in the securities of foreign issuers.
